It was a chilly day when Faye, the oldest child of the Fisher family, grew into a child. The Fishers invited their friends to celebrate her with a small party. Of course, the le Peasants with all their children were there, so the small house was quite crowded. Faye gained the clumsy trait on her birthday, which didn’t go very well with her virtuoso trait, if she was to succeed playing an instrument, she could not be clumsy. Her father, who had great plans for her, was a bit worried, to say the least.
Now that Faye was a child, she could go with William to the sea to fish, this meant that he taught her how to catch her own food and she also gained his love of the sea. Together they would stay by the big sea for hours, well into the night, and although few words passed between them, the bond between father and daughter grew stronger. For Faye it was an adventure to stay out late by the sea with her father, and when she felt her nose and hands grow very cold, she dared not say anything, because she wanted to stay even longer.
Little Byram became a toddler and was well on his way to become an adequate sim, in spite of his low class. He was to be the heir of the little Fisher family, unless Anne and William had another male child. Still, his parents were not ambitious and wished nothing more for the boy than love and happiness. A simple peasant home did well enough for him.
In the Kingdom of Camerina, where Anne Fisher originally came from, she was used to always having music and song, but Castle Keep was more of a quiet kingdom. Now that William was such a good musician, she really appreciated when he practiced his instruments at home and filled their small house with great music. The children would also sing along and they would all be happy together. This was where little Faye came to her right, she had a lovely voice and a great musical ear.
Seeing how their wives had become such good friends, William thought it would be good to get to know Mark le Peasant a bit more, and as it turned out they had quite a lot to speak of. Mark was a simple sim that liked a good laugh and William appreciated that.
